Chehlum committee is established on 1980 A.D by Sayyed Mukhtar Hussain. The purpose of this committee is to oraganized Majis and procession in the remembrance of martyr Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S).

Kul izzato sifat jise kirdegayi de,
Maut-o-Hayat ka bhi jise ikhtiyaar de,
Hamne nahi dekha kisi kafir ke laal ko,
Beti Nabi de aur Khuda Zulfikar de

Tune Samja hai fakat khaibar udata hai Ali (as),
Ya phir pardae Meraj me jata hai Ali (as),
Mere karrar ki jurrat ka andaaz hai ye,
Apne soye hue katil ko jagate hai Ali (as)
