Chehlum committee is established on 1980 A.D by Sayyed Mukhtar Hussain. The purpose of this committee is to oraganized Majis and procession in the remembrance of martyr Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S).

Momin ke liye jaan-e-hasti hai namaaz,
Iman ki agosh mein basti hai namaaz,
Milti nahi mehshar mein kisi qeemat per,
Aay zindigi walo! Parh lo, abhi sasti hai namaaz
