Chehlum committee is established on 1980 A.D by Sayyed Mukhtar Hussain. The purpose of this committee is to oraganized Majis and procession in the remembrance of martyr Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S).

Is tarha Jung ke maidan me Khade hai Abbas (as),
Sochiye Haider hai ya hai Abbas (as),
Baap agar chahe to Dar-e-Khaiber lele,
Beta agar chahe to Chullu me samandar lele.

Reham kha ke use chullu me Jagah di warna,
Pau Abbas (as) ke chune ko tarasta pani,
Hukm de deta agar chand Bani Hashim ka,
Tapte huwe Suraj se barasta pani
